Well… I Tried

Today was my first real attempt at deciding, “I’m going to go somewhere and walk.”

I picked the Agricultural Center because I knew there were trails around it, but once I got there, I couldn’t really figure out where everything connected.

I eventually found one path on the park side and followed it, but it only went about half a mile before I was basically done with what I could find.

Later I realized that if I wanted to get to the longer trail, I had to cross the two-lane bridge.

At five o’clock traffic.

Absolutely not. 😂

I was trying to start walking more, not get taken out by rush-hour traffic on day one.

So this one was pretty much a bust as far as getting a real walk in, but at least I got out and tried.

We’ll call this the practice round.
