The Parthenon

A Little Piece of Greece in Nashville

I went to see the Parthenon today. The inside was closed, so I couldn't actually go in, but I walked around the outside and ended up spending more time just watching everything going on around the park.

There were people everywhere doing completely different things. Groups playing soccer and frisbee, some kind of yoga going on, people walking and running, and couples spread out on blankets doing their little couple thing. 😂 There was even a couple there with their dog and what was obviously a dog trainer, although from where I was standing it looked like all three of them were being trained.

There was a guy sitting around playing whatever he felt like playing on his guitar, and another girl with a guitar singing Michael Jackson. It was just neat seeing so many different people out enjoying the same place in completely different ways.

I think I needed that today. I spend so much time by myself working from home that sometimes I just need to go somewhere people are, even if I don't actually know any of them.

The Parthenon was cool too. 😂 I'll have to come back when I can actually see the inside.
